The Beginning of Nanny Essentials LLC

Nanny Essentials LLC was created in 2003 from a dream that was conjured up long ago. After taking her first position as a nanny, Angela tried to seek out resources to help her enhance her job skills. Frustrated with the lack of information, she joined the National Association of Nannies and was brought into the realm of the professional nanny. Women (and one man that I know of), who held themselves in the most respectful manner convinced her that this was the career choice she was destined for. "I have always loved working with children. The remind me of the innocence that we all wish for. One of my favorite stories is that of one of my charges last summer. I was feeling a little embarrassed about bringing my charge to my house. Our lawn was overgrown with dandelions and we hadn't mowed the lawn in quite a while. My charge had never seen a lawn that wasn't perfectly manicured. When driving up to my home, my charge squled out, "Angela, you have the most wishes in your yard I have ever seen. You are so lucky."

Nanny Essentials LLC was founded from a desire to bring more resources to the nanny industry. The field has come a long way from when Angela took her first position but there is still along road ahead. The first step is recognition. If nannies carry themselves as professionals, they will be perceived that way. We carry the definition in how we conduct ourselves. I have the utmost respect for professional childcare providers and encourage you to celebrate your profession. Nanny employers who have come to this site are proving that they want to research the industry. That is the first step towards realizing a long overdue reception.

The Nanny Essentials logo is special because it is the images of Angela's two children. She wanted to incorporate them into the image somehow and this is what Jesus Artz designed.
